Practice of the Science of Teaching Journal: Jurnal Praktisi Pendidikan (POSTJournal) was originally the HAFECS Practice of the Science of Teaching Journal: Journal of Education Practitioners. The change in the journal's name is related to the proposed E-ISSN of the journal through LIPI's ISSN. E-ISSN Journal submitted on June 20, 2022, and published on July 8, 2022, with number 2830-568X with the scientific category, namely education.

Since 2022, this journal has been published twice yearly, namely April and August. Some other information from 2022 includes (1) POSTJournal is indexed in several national and international indexing agencies, namely Google Scholar, GARUDA, ROAD ISSN, and the International Copernicus Index; and (2) every article published in POSTJournal has an identity number, namely DOI from Crossref submitted through the Relawan Jurnal Indonesia agency (RJI).

Since 2023, POSTJournal added national and international indexations, namely BASE (Bielefeld Academic Search Engine), Journal Stories, EuroPub (Directory of Academic and Scientific Journals), ResearchBib (Academic Resource Index), Dimensions, Indonesia One Search Repository by Perpusnas, and WorldCat.

Since the August 2023 edition, published article manuscripts have started to be in full English.

Since October 2023, POSTJournal has been indexed on DOAJ (Directory of Open Access Journals).

Since 2024, POSTJournal has been officially SINTA 4 National Accredited by Kemendikbudristek, which is valid in 2022-2026.

Since 2025, for the convenience of consistent publication, POSTJournal is published twice a year in May and November.

Since 2025, the journal template has been updated to make it better and the editing process easier.
